Last summer, we replaced the 7-Day Sweet Pickle with Icicle Pickles due to stricter FDA regulations on product naming. The original "Seven Day" name came from the traditional process, which took seven days to make the pickles. However, because we counted the labeling and packaging day as the seventh day, the FDA did not approve. As a result, we had to either rename it "Six Day Pickles" or choose a completely new name. We decided on Icicle Pickles, but it’s still the same great product—just with a new name.
